What people are saying about our Program?

Sensei Martin Doherty: "This is not another drop off "day care" camp ... this has been designed as an experiential workshop experience that will allow your child to actively participate in an extensive variety of both mental and physical experiences to support their full mental, physical and personal development. Designed and lead by the most professionally qualified & experienced staff available."

- Martin Doherty, RP-CRA, founder Kick Smart Workshop™

Your Child will want more than just 2 or 3 classes per week!

In order for the children to fully experience and participate in all of the vast different modules of the Hands on Technology & Nature and Fusion Martial Arts workshops, we strongly suggest your child enroll for more than only two or three weeks. There is always more for your child  to learn and there are endless possibilities with this program! Many parents are opting for multiple weeks to take advantage of not only the additional savings but to encourage their child to embrace a more in depth life experience.

You are always welcome visit the facilities at any time during the day to take a look.  We selected these facilitates as they are so central for the majority of families in the Toronto area.  Most of all though - they all have immediate access to the Toronto Ravine and Parks system where your child will go for summer lunches, and be lead on Critical Environmental and Technology missions (weather permitting)!

Jack (student): "You know, this is the very, very, VERY BEST program I have ever been in!"
Moscow, Russia: "Vasily had a great time and asked to go again next time we're in Toronto. Thanks again for accommodating us."  Ron
Mexico: I'm a Trade Commissioner working for the Canadian Consulate General in Monterrey, Mexico. I'm planning to spend one month in Toronto and I'm looking for an activity for my 5 year old kid. He's also Mexican and he doesn't speak a lot of English, only very basic words, but I would love for him to be able to attend your workshop since the development of mind, body and spirit is a priority to me. Marco's Mom:  "Marco is confirmed for next week, he is totally LOVING this!"

Spencer's dad: "In case no one mentioned it you received the highest possible praise from Spencer when he said "this is way better than any other camp I've ever been to". That is indeed high praise from a boy who has been to many of the local camps and has had very positive feedback on the best ones."
Julia's dad: Thank you again for the celebration yesterday, and for all of your dedication and work with Julia and her fellow students. As you pointed out yesterday in your opening words, self-confidence is a huge issue for everyone; but especially for children at Julia's age and stage of development. Thank you for designing and overseeing a program that is such a positive part of her life.

Here is a Powerful Story I received from one of our Parents:

"I wanted to pass along to you that our Champion said on the way to class today that he thinks he's figured out what he wants to do.  He seemed very pleased and excited when he said "Mom, I think I want to be a Sensei!"  So of course I said I thought that was a great idea.  I asked him what it was about this that he liked and he said........  "Well I love what we're doing and I love working with the younger kids!"

The significance of this conversation is pretty big for him.  He's really been struggling to see a future role for himself.  He knows he's in Special Ed and I think it's been hard for him to identify jobs that sound interesting to him that he could see himself doing.  Of course we don't know and he doesn't know what kinds of things he will be able to do ultimately but it is so moving for us to hear his enthusiasm and excitement.

AND it is so great for him to have a sense today of a future that has meaning for him and that he can imagine, even if like the rest of us, that vision changes over time.

So thanks for all that you and your team are doing with him.............  truly!!"
